Attracting investment with good data

In recent months, some of our T-Stats partners have been telling us about how the system has helped attract inward investment to their destinations. These experiences range from large-scale developments through to existing operators using T-Stats to expand and improve their business models. Here are two examples, one from Newcastle and the other from rural Cotswolds.

Airbnb’s new Experiences and Places has been filling the news recently, however we should not lose sight of the fact that they continue to expand their influence in the accommodation sector.

Acorn T-Stats Arrives in Botswana

Acorn T-Stats is well known in the UK for helping destinations to track tourism, but in Africa it has less coverage.  However Acorn T-Stats have been contracted by the Department of Tourism in Botswana to develop a system that will help them monitor the tourism sector on a monthly basis.
